Nature Nuts Club: Join Aquarium educators and guest experts for a monthly nature club, especially for children ages 5-12! The Tennessee Aquarium Nature Nuts come together to connect children and their families to the amazing diversity of nature in our own backyards and around the world.  Our goal is to kindle a lifelong appreciation for the natural world. Topics vary month to month. Children ages 5-12 are encouraged to sign-up. Some meetings are at the Tennessee Aquarium and others are in the field at designated Chattanooga locations.

 

 

Nature Nuts: Bat Cave Paddle
Saturday, June 16
7:30-10:00 PM ET

There will be a special, added program on June 16, a perfect Father’s Day adventure! We’ll paddle to the Nickajack Bat Cave and watch the mother bats come out to hunt insects. This trip involves sitting quietly and patiently in the canoe for up to 45 minutes. No previous canoeing experience is required. Rain date TBD. Meet at the launch site in Marion County.
