South Chickamauga Canoe Trip

Join Outdoor Chattanooga and the Tennessee Aquarium Conservation Institute for an afternoon of family fun.  Instructors from Outdoor Chattanooga will provide instruction and all the canoeing equipment for a calm water paddle down South Chickamauga Creek.  Tennessee Aquarium Conservation Institute naturalists will accompany the tour providing interpretive information  This section of creek often provides views of various aquatic birds and possibly experience the Buffalo Fish swimming wildly in the shallows.  This canoe trip is open to ages 10 and up. Each canoe requires an adult.  One mandatory portage of the canoes does require some physical exertion.

Shuttle is provided. Detailed logistics will be provided upon paid registration.
