Nature Nuts: Sandhill Cranes
Sunday, January 20th, 2019
4:00 PM - 6:00 PM

Nature Nuts has never visited them before, but there’s a first time for everything! We’ll go to Birchwood, TN to see the amazing sight of thousands of Sandhill cranes coming in to roost at their resting place on the banks of the Hiawassee River as they travel from more southerly wintering grounds to the pothole country of the Midwest to nest.

**Registration Update: Please register all adults + children attending

What is the Nature Nuts Club? Join Aquarium educators and guest experts for a monthly nature club, especially for children ages 5-12! The Tennessee Aquarium's Nature Nuts come together to connect children and their families to the amazing diversity of nature in our own backyards and around the world.  Our goal is to kindle a lifelong appreciation for the natural world. Topics vary month to month. Children ages 5-12 are encouraged to sign-up. Some meetings are at the Tennessee Aquarium and others are in the field at designated Chattanooga locations.
