Turtles of the World Member Event

Kickoff our Year of the Turtle by joining us for a free event exclusively for Members! Explore the Aquarium’s Turtle Trail while discovering fun facts about these amazing creatures. You’ll also be among the first to experience our new Turtles of the World gallery. New exhibits featuring animals from two of the world’s biodiversity hotspots lead you toward a turtle nursery. Here you’ll see some of the rarest hatchlings on earth while learning how our experts are working with others to save turtles from extinction.
Families will enjoy an interactive zone before pausing for "Shell-fies" in a super-sized turtle nest. Special programs, activities, art and music will be held in River Journey on Friday March 13th, from 5-8 PM.

Want to make your evening Turtle-y awesome? Experience our newest IMAX film, Turtle Odyssey 3D, before or after the Member Event.
Follow the adventures of “Bunji,” a Green Sea Turtle, as she goes on an incredible underwater adventure while encountering huge whales, ocean oddities like cuttlefish and sea dragons and huge schools of fish that appear to swim into your lap.
Special screenings of Turtle Odyssey will show at 5, 6 and 7 pm on Friday, March 13th. Tickets are only $8 for members, and free for Deluxe Members, IMAX Club and River Society. Please note that films are first come, first serve. Discounted Member tickets can be purchased at the IMAX Box Office or at the Aquarium Ticketing Center.
